My wonderful weekend

Greetings from me.. :)

It is already Tuesday and there are only two more days to go before a long weekend. And good news for my self is that I am taking a break the whole next week :). My university is having the Gawai Holiday and there will be no classes at all. So, I am taking a week off and planning to go to Kulim :)

Let me share you the story of last weekend. My husband had planned of coming to my place last Friday after work but on the way, he stopped by at his relatives' place to meet with his family members. So, by the time he got there was a bit late so he decided not to come directly to Puchong that nite. Honestly, I felt kinda sad that he did not make it that night as I already got everything ready and just wait for him to arrive. But I understand that he was too tired to drive all the way to Puchong that same night. So, I told my self that it is better for him to rest first and come here first thing the next morning. Sometimes, we have to give and take and understand our spouse especially when he or she has had a bad day at work and have been working from 7.00 to 7.00. My husband works at a factory and usually he gets to the office quite early and get of a bit late. There were times where he would go back even at 9 or 10 pm. So, no matter how much you want to be with your spouse (especially for the weekend husband/wife), please be considerate to your partner. I am pretty sure that he or she would want to be with you as soon as possible too.

I fell asleep on the sofa while watching TV and remained sleeping until about 3.30. I saw an SMS by my husband. I was too sleepy to even reply to it and continued sleeping. Around 4.30, he called me on my HP and I asked him his whereabouts. My thought was that he was about to start his journey to come here. To my surprise, he asked to open the door as he was already in front of my house. Haha.. a good surprise, my darling.

We spent the early morning together and after Subuh prayer, we went for breakfast at McDonald's. Once we were done, we headed back home and tried to get some sleep. But we couldn't as we had 2 cups of coffee each while in McD. Too much caffeine I guess.. :) We watched movie to kill our time and it was just halfway as I was getting sleepy already. Surprisingly, after a while, it was my husband who slept and I just couldn't continue the sleep as it is not my normal sleeping hour.

That night, we planned to go to Mydin Mall in USJ but the traffic was really bad in USJ as there are LRT construction going on and the traffic lights were all not functioning. So, took a detour and went to Fend Ikan Bakar at Kelana Jaya for dinner. I ordered nasi goreng pataya but could not even finish it. Coming back to Puchong, we had to go to Tesco looking for my new iron as the old one is now kaput. So, we went to the new Tesco at Bandar Bukit Puchong, bought the iron, and went straight home. I was amazed to look at some of the people who went to Tesco at around 10.30 pm that nite and I could see the young parents are bringing their small children to go out at that hour. If I were them, I would probably just stay at home with the kids as I can see that some of them were already sleepy. So, when you combine kids and sleepiness = TEMPER TANTRUM. You can hear a lot of cryings here and there. Don't torture your kids just because you want to satisfy your needs and wants. Find a better time, as in early in the morning where they are fresh and awake.

That nite, we slept like as if we had been drugged!

The next morning, as we woke up, we decided to go to Pasar Tani Shah Alam. That was the first time for my husband to be there. We bought some groceries and later had breakfast. He had laksa and I had mee kari. That evening, we had to bid goodbye as he went back to his place and I was left at home.

To me, being a weekend couple is really testing our patience and trust to each other. As for me, I only have the weekend, not even two full days to be with him. To him, I guess, he needs all the rest that he could have. The balance must be there. So far, after a month of our wedding, we have started to blend well with each other's timetable. We enjoyed our time together and make up for the time that we are not together. True what the proverb says - absence makes the heart grows fonder... every week, we are looking forward to meet each other... :) And I am looking forward for this coming weekend too..

A surprise gift

Last Sunday, my husband, mother in law and myself went to Puteri Mart to get a few grocery item. While I and mom in law did the very short shopping, my husband was supposed to be waiting in the car. When we were done, went back to the car and I found a stalk of red rose on my seat. So, I asked him, is this for Mak (as it was Mother's Day) but he said it was for me. :) That was so sweet of him and a lovely surprise. Thank you my sayang for the lovely red rose. I love you!

Hello everyone,

Did you miss me? Hehe.. Dah lama tak menulis. Sebenarnya, hari-hari terasa nak menulis tapi ada saja la rintangan nya. Chewah... bukanla rintangan tapi malas benor nak turn on computer and menaip. Kalau online pun dari handphone ajer. Tapi kalau nak blog dari handphone tak best coz screen nya kecik... hehehe.. alasan semua tu.... korang percaya ke??

Anyway, nak citer sikit pasal aktiviti aku minggu lepas. Takde la citer pasal politik sebab orang lain dah banyak sangat citer pasal politik. So, aku hanya nak share apa yang aku buat ajer la.. eh.. you all semua nak baca ke? 

Last week, aku start keje balik hari Isnin 29 April after bercuti selama seminggu setengah. Masa tu ada terima la wedding gifts from my colleagues. Tak bukak pun lagi sebab nak tunggu En. Azrin datang ke sini baru nak bukak sama-sama. :)

On 1 May plak, hari cuti buruh. I went to Seremban to help my sister pindah rumah. Seharian juga la di sana. Khamis keje as usual and Jumaat pulak, after class ended at 5 pm, terus aku drive balik Teluk Intan. Sampai Teluk Intan, dalam pukul 7.45 macam tu. En. Azrin suruh aku tunggu kat rumah mak dia because dia pun on the way balik jugak. By the way, Jumaat tu dia MC sebab matanya sakit dan dah melarat ke sakit kepala pulak. Risau aku. Janjinya, the next day nak pegi ke Klinik Pakar Mata di Jalan Changkat Jong to have a check up.

So, sampai ajer kat rumah mak mentua, tak lama lepas tu, En. Azrin pun sampai dari Kulim. Semua ada kat rumah masa tu. Sempat juga la makan dinner ramai-ramai. By 9.45pm, we went off to Eastern Garden. Masa nak masuk simpang rumah aku, nampak kereta banyak dok park kat tepi jalan sampai jalan masuk. Rupanya ada ceramah kempen di San Min. Lantak korang lah nak kempen ke aper ke.. yang penting aku nak balik rumah and rest ajer...

Anyway, the next day tu, aku settlekan laundry then we went for breakfast kat Nikmat. Makan roti canai dan roti telur bawang plus ayam goreng seketul. Banyak giler makan. Lepas makan, gi pasar jap beli lauk nak masak makan tengahari, the, baru lah gi klinik mata tu. Nasib baik doctor kata ianya cuma infection tapi kalau tunggu lama lagi takut ada scar kat kornea tu. Kena la RM85. Mmm... tu la En. Azrin, dok bertangguh ajer nak gi clinic, kan dah kena sound. Lepas balik dari klinik, sempat plak singgah makan mee dan rojak Abdullah Mastan. Asyik keje makan jer kami berdua ni...

Tengahari, lepas makan lunch, sempat la tidur kejap. Kekenyangan makan lauk gulai telur, ikan rebus goreng, sambal belacan dan bayam tumis. Dah nak maghrib, baru la pegi ke rumah mak En. Azrin. Sampai sana, terus solat maghrib sebab nak keluar makan ramai-ramai kat DHentian Batu 8. Kenyang jugak makan malam tu. Bila balik, sempat juga menyembang di rumah mak. On the way balik, kami ronda ronda di bandar, tengok orang berkempen last minute. Terserempak dgn M. Kayveas di bandar baru.

Balik rumah pun dah pukul 11 malam kot. Apa lagi.. bobom ajer laa... mata dah ngantuk, perut pun dah berat. ZZZZ ajer la yang sedapnya... 

The next morning is the election day. Bangunn agak awal for Subuh and got ready to vote. My centre was SRK St Anthony. Hubby mengundi di Malim Nawar. Kali ni terkejut juga sebab pegi jam 8.05 pagi orang dah mula ramai. Kena tunggu 30 minit baru selesai. Itupun Alhamdulillah, dapat juga selesai agak awal. Kalau lambat lagi, teruk la nak beratur. Lepas ajer mengundi, pegi breakfast di Reena's. Nasi lemaknya agak sedap. Pas tu, balik rumah dan bersiap utk balik rumah masing masing. Kesedihan melanda sebab nak berpisah sementara sebab masing masing perlu menjalankan tugas. Sob sob.. nasib baik tak kawin ngan abg army.. kalau tak... menangih ajer le keroje nye... hik hik hik..

Sent Azrin to his parent's place as he parked his car over there. Singgah kejap dan terus gerak. My self pulak berhajat nak terus ke Seremban. Ada dua reasons, satu mmg nak jumpa Yang and the kids. Dua takut apa apa jadi due to election result so I don't want to be alone if anything happen. Azrin plak akan singgah di Malim Nawar utk mengundi dan terus ke Kulim.

Sampai ajer di Seremban, relax2 ajer. Petang lepas Asar, bawak Yang and Ilyas ke Aeon Seremban 2. Makan-makan dan saja window shopping. Ilyas plak dapat lepas geram main game dan jugak berkaraoke lagu Justin Bieber. Aku tak pernah gi karaoke. Maklumla... setakat menyanyi dalam bilik ayor jer yang lepas. Hehehe...

Malam, kami dah kepenatan. After solat Isya' masing masing terus terlena. Kat rumah Yang belum ada Astro so kami pun takleh la nak tengok TV sangat except for streaming dari youtube ke TV. Sesekali, aku bangun nak check result election. By 3.30 macam tu full result dah lebih kurang diumumkan and BN menang walaupun bukan dengan 2/3 majority.

The next day, Monday, aku dgn Yang dah sesiap ambik cuti pasal UiTM tak boleh buat kelas hari Isnin dan Selasa. Tapi Yang plak punya la sibuk menguruskan pasal Imran nak buat kad bank and ganti IC. Pas tu, petang tu aku sesiap nak balik Puchong dan Yang pulak nak hantar Imran balik ke MRSM Kuala Klawang.

Malam plak, singgah rumah Abang nak ambik tangga sebab esok nak panggil bibik bersihkan rumah. Aku rasa penat betul weekend ni. Penuh jadual ku.... tapi rasa seronok jugak. Kalau dulu, cuti cuti ni melangut jer la kat rumah. Abih kuat pun jalan MidValley.. tak pun tidur.. tak pun masak...

Ok laa.. now nak sambung marking test paper budak2... till then... tata..

Back to work :)

Sorry that I have been inactive in blogging for the past couple of weeks. Of course, some of you already know the reason and perhaps some of you have not. Revealing the truth, I am now married to my dear husband, Mohd Azrin since 19th April 2013. :)

Alhamdulillah, the solemnization and reception events went very well despite a few hiccups. That's normal I guess. Thank you to all my family members especially my parents and my brothers and sisters who were very supportive throughout the event and for always being with me when I needed them. I owe you all a big THANK YOU!

To my dearest husband, I love you so much and thank you for marrying me and accepting me for who I am. We were once an item and now fate has brought us back together. Allah is so great that only He knows what is best for the two of us. I will love you for the rest of my life and hope you will do the same. 

To my new in law family, thank you for being so understanding and sporting when I am around. I love all of you too. I don't feel my self so much as a stranger when I am surrounded by you. :)

To all my relatives and friends, who atttended the wedding, I am thankful for your kindness though I did not have a chance to meet you personally during the event. I am deeply sorry for that and I hope we could meet later once we have the free time. To those who did not make it, it is also fine with me as I know that you might have other important events. :)

Alhamdulillah, I am glad that this event is over but the marriage is just a beginning. As for now, I am back to my usual routine here and my husband is also back at work in Kulim. Praying hard for me to get transferred very soon so that I could be with him all the time.

Abang, I love you and can't wait to see you this weekend. :)

One more week to go

Hi

I have been busier than usual for the past week. And the pressure is on the rise. Maunya tak.. tinggal seminggu jer lagi before my big day. And unfortunately, there are several issues that arise lately. :(

Last weekend, aku balik kampung dengan abang, kak su and uzair comel. Nak menghantar barang-barang dan jugak kemaskan rumah apa yang patut. We went back on Saturday morning and reached Teluk Intan around 2 pm. Along the way tu, kami singgah di rumah Chu di Bidor. Saja nak jumpa dan personally invite him and the family to the kenduri. Sampai dirumah, tengok Abah tak ada. Rupanya depa ke KL untuk AGM Bank Rakyat dan masa tu dah on the way balik ke Perak. So, sampai ajer kat rumah, tengok bilik lintang pukang sebab dok pasang a few things and alih perabot. So, lepas rest for 5 minutes, terus kemas bilik. Pasang langsir, ganti cadar, vacuum and wipe all furnitures.

Penat memang la penat tapi kenala kerja sikit kan. Alhamdulillah, we managed to clear up many things and the whole house. Petang tu, pegi pasar malam dan gerai kuih kg bahagia. Sangat la bahagianya dapat makan food dari tempat sendiri. Malam tu pulak, lepas solat, terus bungkus tuala untuk petugas majlis nanti. Sambil membungkus, kami ada seorang assistant tecik yang sangat la comel. Asyik dok kacau chu na and ayah dia nak buat keje.

Malam tu, I got to know that Pakcik Tukang Kebun nak balik Ipoh and esok nak datang Teluk Intan. Mmm... langsung tak plan pun. Katanya nak bagi balance barang hantaran. So, malam tu dah berangan-angan nak dating ngan dia.. hahahaha.. kome ni.. kasi chance la woiii...

Pagi esoknya, pegi breakfast dengan Kak Mah disertai PTK. Ingat nak breakfast kat Nikmat tapi belum bukak so we headed to Ghulam Rasul. Had roti telur and apam manis kat situ. Borak punya borak, we split after that. PTK bawak myself to his parents house. Saja singgah kejap. First time kau!! Nervous makcik dibuatnya. Tak caya, gi tanya PTK!

Then lepas minum and borak jap, PTK send me back. Singgah plak kat Bandar Baru nak arrange for tepak punya hiasan dan hand bouquet. So, dah siap bayar semua, Jumaat minggu depan just pick up ajer.

Balik rumah, PTK pun singgah kejap coz abah pun ada before dia nak ke majlis org kawin. Minum lagi teh secawan. :)

Tengahari tu, siap barang-barang sikit, dan terus siap balik Puchong. On the way, kami singgah di Sg Klah, rumah Mak Chu Maimun, for the same reason nak jemput personally. Dah lama juga tak ke sana dan sangat rindukan suasana rumahnya tu. Rumah Achik di Sungkai tu kami pegi juga tapi sebab dia kerja, so tak de la singgah.

Sampai Puchong dan almost Maghrib. Penat jangan cakap la.. walaupun tak drive, tapi sebab trip short sgt sampaikan tak sempat sangat nak rehat.

So, sedar tak sedar, tinggal lagi seminggu untuk bergelar orang bujang. Insya Allah, termakbul hajat untuk hidup berkeluarga. Apa apa pun, doakan yang terbaik utk makcik serta doakan agar perjalanan majlis yang akan berlangsung minggu depan semuanya lancar.

Okla.. makcik ni nak sambung marking quiz dan assignment sebab nak return pada student by tomorrow. Pas tu, ada dua bundle exam papers belum settle. Takpe.. tu boleh buat on Saturday. Till the next time, bye. Wassalam.
