Manners

Kali ni aku nak bebel pasal manners. It seems that there are still many of us Malaysians who do not have appropriate manners. I quote a few examples which I encountered during the last few days:

1. Yesterday, I went to watch Transformers: Age of Extinction with Azrin. As usual, we chose the most upper seat in the hall as it has the best view without people behind us disturbing. It is the couple seat as well. So, what really bothers me (and this is happening every time we watch movie) is when people go out or coming into the hall from the loo, they never bother to close the door. Why la??? Is it so difficult to close it? So in the end, my hubby had to close it when the door is being left open for some time. And aku jadi lebih brutal siap sound sapa2 yg masuk tu utk tutup pintu... NO MANNERS!
2. Today, I went to Tesco and there were so many people there as today is a public holiday. I cant even get a cart for my shopping so in the end, I just held my things and went straight to the Express Counter. To my surprise, there was this guy who had his full trolley queuing at the counter. Hello... cant you read the sign that this is for 10 items and below?? So selfish. And actually I was pissed with the cashier as she allowed him to pass through. NO MANNERS! Tapi, mengingatkan bulan pose.... sabor jer le... kalau tak.. lama dah aku sapu mamat tu...
3. This one is very very common.... turning into junction and not putting the signal on. Hoii... penat jer car manufacturer letak lampu signal.. apsal korang tak guna??
4. Masuk tandas... dah buat bisness, tak reti nak flush.... mmg teruk!!!
5. Tisu buang merata-rata.. especially dalam surau... menyampah....

Itu baru sikit.... banyak lagi kes2 yang menyakitkan hati just because these people lack in good manners.... bila la nak berubah ye...

Salam Ramadan

Selamat menyambut bulan Ramadan yang penuh dengan barokah dan bulan yang menguji ketaqwaan kita kepada Allah SWT. Semoga kita tidak hanya penat berlapar dan dahaga tetapi dapat memenuhkan aktiviti seharian dengan ibadah yang bermanfaat di dunia dan akhirat.

Sheer Frustration

I was 6 days late for my Aunt Flo to pay her visit. For one short period of time, it made me believe that I could be preggy after gotten married for more than a year. But today, everything is so crystal clear that I am not. A visit to the restroom confirms that I am having the routine 'cleansing' cycle for my womb.

For every married couple, this could be the most dreading issue to be dealt with apart from financial problems, infidelities, and many other. To me, it is more a critical issue as I am in my late 30's and also having a few other health problems. So, the chances of me conceiving is perhaps lower than the normal. 

Every month, when the time comes, it will be a pressuring period to know whether the conception occurs or not. My Aunt Flo has been very diligent especially after I got married so that's why when this time around, she was late, I thought that I might be having a baby.

I cried yesterday in front of my husband when I did the test and it was negative. I know that there are still chances of us to have a baby but my biggest concern is the time - I am running out of time. The clock is ticking and both of us are not getting any younger.

I just wish that one day Allah will grant our prayers and our hope and wish will eventually come true.

The one who feels sad and blue but knows Allah has always known what's best for me and my husband..

Vetting Time

For you out there who are not familiar with the term, vetting refers to the careful analysis and review of the final exam question before it is submitted to the Faculty for final selection.

Every semester we would have this session and it will take a few days to complete. Our campus has been selected to be the northern hub for that purpose.

This time around, I am not involved as the vetter but I am one of the committee members organising the event. Too bad that at this very moment, I am not well as I have slight fever and a series of headache (headache ni bukan sebab darah tinggi ke.. stress ke... tapi sebab I have luka kat kepala disebabkan jari jemari gatal garu garu.. terus kena infection!!)

Hari ni disebabkan demam terpaksa lah postpone my 2 tutorial classes sebab dah gigil2 sejuk. Telan ubat dan lelap dlm office. Ingatkan kalau tak baik jugak nak terus gi clinic ambik MC. My roomie kata muka aku dah merah semacam... panas punya pasal. Alhamdulillah, bangun dari my short nap, demam dah kebah.. terus solat and get ready nak gi tempat vetting tu balik sebab aku tahu ada banyak benda nak dibuat kat situ. Sekarang kena fikir bila plak aku nak ganti kelas yg dua jam tu?? Huh.....

Esok lagi teruk.... apart from vetting event, aku ada 5 hours of classes. Just hope yg aku tak demam lagi...

Oklah... nak cau cin cau ni... dengarnya ptg ni ada laksa sebagai menu minum petang... elok le.. aku pun tak lunch lagi ni.....

Almost veggie

Tired of eating meat and chicken, I opt for almost veggie lunch today. Fried tofu and anchovies with stir fry bean sprouts. But they taste so good that I am having second...

That is my simple n lazy lunch...

It is MAY already...

Time flies too fast these days. I feel that the year 2014 just started not too long ago but when I looked at the calendar, it is already 3rd May 2014. This is the month when I was born. But mind you, I have two birthdates.. hihihi... the actual one is in May but on my birth cert and IC, it is stated as 1 June 1976. So normally, I would celebrate the actual one in May with my family and close friends but people in the office will greet me on June 1st. So I get to celebrate twice in the year. This year, my department is organising a wishlist for anyone's birthday. Seriously, I do not know what to ask for ask a gift. Instead, I'd probably ask for cash.. so that I can celebrate it with my dear husband. :)

Accounting Profesional Avenue

Hello. Greetings from Penang. Today I am the chaperone for 31 students from my campus attending a conference for the accounting profession. It is a two days event but I am only in charge for today. It has been a great event so far with an outstanding opening ceremony, informational talk by Deloitte and exciting presentation on professional grooming session. At the moment of my blogging session, we are having a break for lunch and Friday prayer and will commence the last session at 2.45 pm. Hopefully this afternoon's session would also offer something useful for the students.

Well, as for me, there are many things that have been happening since my last entry. Will try to keep my readers up to date with my current news.
